Greetings! My name is Žilvinas Dakinevičius, I’m the founder of LTD Emideira. Today, I would like to introduce our company – how it all started and where we aim to go next.

Let’s begin with the idea. The business idea was born out of many years of experience and personal knowledge gained in wood and furniture manufacturing companies. I had a desire to start my own company.

The first year of business in 2017 was hard – unprofitable orders and not enough customers. It looked like I could just give up. But I never forgot why I started – I wanted to fulfill myself by crafting wood products and creating a cozy home environment.

Let’s begin with the idea. The business idea was born out of many years of experience and personal knowledge gained in wood and furniture manufacturing companies. I had a desire to start my own company.

The first year of business in 2017 was hard – unprofitable orders and not enough customers. It looked like I could just give up. But I never forgot why I started – I wanted to fulfill myself by crafting wood products and creating a cozy home environment.

My first big order seemed a bit unusual – nest boxes and bird feeders for wild birds. Such change allowed me to expand my manufacturing opportunities, discover, and fall in love with this niche until it gradually became the core business of the company. And most importantly, it helped me to put together a positive, hard-working team where we all feel and act like one big family. Emideira and its products such as nest boxes and wild bird feeders have earned a good reputation among many Lithuanian and foreign customers.

We have manufactured nest boxes and feeders for hundreds of thousands of wild birds. Many of our high-quality wood products are made from sustainable forests. The wood complies with international FSC® standards.

Today, I am responsible for management. We constantly strive to ensure that the wood products you order are of high quality and delivered on time. You’ll constantly stay in touch with our team throughout the process and also we are able to communicate in English, German, and Russian.

I am glad that the love of nature and our home unites us all. We are becoming more and more involved in the preservation of wild birds and nature, we are cooperating with the Lithuanian Ornithological Society. We dedicate part of our profits to helping restore endangered populations of birds.

I would like to add that these values: patience, faith, love of nature, and special customer care – helped Emideira to survive, in its first year of existence. It has become our driving force that helped build the company into what it is today. This strength allows us to establish and maintain warm and strong relationships with clients.

Production

As I mentioned, we only use FSC-certified wood that comes from sustainable forests. Every day I make sure that this raw material reaches our manufactory and gets processed properly.

Our company uses various woodworking machines, such as multi-saws, four-sided planing, cutting, drilling, milling, forging, and others. We paint nest boxes, bird feeders, and other wood products only with ecological, water-based paints.

Today, we can produce around 1000 units of small wood products per day, such as nest boxes, bird feeders, animal feeders, huts, planters, and so on. I would also like to mention that we are open to your needs and together we can design and produce the wood product you want. We will take care of the packaging and delivery to your specified address.

We use various types of raw wood, and at the same time, we can offer FSC® certified wood (LICENSE CODE: FSC-C141060) that comes from responsibly managed forests. Every day I make sure that this raw material reaches our manufactory and gets processed properly.

The manufactory team is made of responsible, hardworking, and experienced wood processing specialists.
